Full Permaculture Design course, PDC + an advanced Permaculture skills certificate 147hrs starts Tuesday 28th Feb 2012 & each Tues 9.00-3.00 pm@ Emerald for the first day then 9-4.00pm when at my "Telopea Mtn" classroom plus on 5 Sat or Sun------ final day late July .

How to Select, buy, plant, graft new ones and care for them. We will also discuss some of those varieties we had once and what is still available now with Apples, plums, Nashi, Pears & Cherries plus so much more. Class is now extended to discuss summer vs winter pruning and inspect the new 1/2 acre enclosure.

This class will look at the technical side of growing mushrooms with  Todd Manfield and then we will be outside turning these logs into mushrooms growing ones

This class has run for years in the hills until about 2 years ago when I ran out of time to run it,  due to many requests recently I have made time to run it again.

On the day we wil cover what chooks need , foods, shel;ter protection and look at how design good predator proof runs.

we will also look at what chooks to buy rare breed vs commecial breeds

This one day course will give you the basic skills to make an apple cider & scrumpy or Pear cider (Perry) and then we will taste an apple cider made in 5 days using just smkt apple juice.

After a discussion on varieties of cider apples and other details on wine making
